These treatments each work in different ways which has given rise to a number of popular misconceptions.
- Botox™ is generally used around the top half of the face so the various “trout pouts” on display are not due to Botox™.
- Dermal Fillers are mainly used in the lower half of the face to smooth out lines, wrinkles and skin folds around the mouth.
- Facial Peels use a chemical solution to remove the damaged surface of the skin and reveal the younger, healthier layers beneath. They can unblock pores, remove skin debris and improve the appearance of skin blemishes associated with ageing.
